Spanish Club SCW

Annual membership for new and renewing members in Spanish Club SCW is on a calendar year basis per Recreation Centers of Sun City West requirements. However, individuals joining the club after September 1st in any year will be enrolled as members through December 31st of the following calendar year. Membership in the Recreation Centers of Sun City West is the only prerequisite for membership in Spanish Club SCW.

Signup Now! Membership is required by the end of day on January 15th of any calendar year according to club by-laws in order to participate in all Spanish Club SCW functions including Language Classes and Fiestas for that Calendar Year. Don't wait until the last minute. Signup before the new year begins.

We do not have a physical location assigned to our club by the Rec Centers but we conduct most of our Language Classes at the Beardsley Recreation Center. For that reason, we maintain an informational bulletin board there.

Spanish Club SCW has several activities in addition to Language Classes and Fiestas. From November through March usually there are monthly game afternoons, movie nights and book club meetings. The club has also conducted cooking classes. Usually there are one or more coordinated travel trips abroad.

Our club exists due to the active support of our members, each of whom has something to contribute and all of whom are valuable. Please use the signup process to share your career experience as well as your interest as a volunteer. Thank you for sharing this information with us.

Spanish Club SCW communicates with its members predominantly via our website, via periodic email messages (one or more times per month) and also via the bulletin board at the Beardsley Rec Center. Often informational articles will appear in the Rec Centers Newsletter or in local publications. However, usually the most current information will be on our website.
